Had an enjoyable weekend this one just gone! Rose late on saturday and was invited to cake and coffey on upper street at a famous bakery/patisserie by Dave and Sal. This turned into our backwards and inside out night as we then went to a film, Youth without youth by Francis ford copola, starring Tim roth. A strange discussion starter film to say the least. We then followed it up with dinner. So we started with desert, mid meal entertainment and mains to end the evening. The following morning we ventured west to the Hyde park christmas fair. As friends were Ice skating, which in the freezer known as London is the thing to do. We didnt skate but did investigate the raindeer pelts piled to the rafters in the retail huts. Don’t worry kids, even though donna, dancer and prancer are dead santa should still make it! icky!!!
The fair was a little bit of a dissapointment, it was billed as Londons great christmas fair… they lied. I aslo went to the london motorsport show, last weekend, and despite a two hour ordeal to get 5 km’s by public transport I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thankfully Jane was at work So I had hours to just wander the isles of stalls and displays striking up innane car related conversations with all and asunder. It was great, despite the show being a bit small. Apparently the NEC berminghanm show is the one to go to mid January so I may investigate that for a weekend away. Sorry jane, your coming next time.
After the Christmas Fair we dashed to tottenham court road for shoe shopping and then rushed to Highgate cemetary for a tour with one of Janes work Collegues. It was an interesting place and good company.
